Recent Farmville Update

As part of Zynga's FarmVille  updates the other evening, they have launched four new decorations in the Country Fair limited edition item theme.

The items are the Deluxe Carousel, the Giant Slide, the Racing Booth, and the Cotton Candy machine. The Giant Slide you have to get using Farm Cash item, and at the moment is being offered at a 50% off introductory price of 15 Farm Cash for the next couple of days. You get the Carousel for 35 Farm Cash, and the Giant Slide's full price is 30 Farm cash

The Racing Booth and the Cotton Candy machine are both available for coins, for 3,000 and 2,000 coins, respectively. This is a good price considering that they are limited edition. Apart from the Slide, these items have a time limit of 14 days, so you need to get a shift on,  before they sell out.

There has also been another FarmVille update in the release of the Pinto Pony and the Dwarf Goat. Both of these animals can be purchased for 24 and 14 Farm Cash respectively

The Country Fair Theme on Farmville

The new country fair theme continues to gain momentum by the day here on Farmville. For the next ten days or so the following items will be available to purchase in the market place,

     ·         Swing Ride – 36 Farm Cash

     ·         Farm Float – 17 Farm Cash

     ·         Strength Test – 100,000 Coins

     ·         Fair Sign – 20,000 Coins

     ·         Popcorn Stand – 2,500 Coins

and this evening a further 2 items were added to the Farmville Country Fair Theme. With the addition of

·         Emu – 20 Farm Cash

·         Rex Rabbit – 12 Farm Cash

Four New Items For Farmville Soon

Keep your eyes open for four new items to soon be released on Farmville. These will be a Scarlet Ibis, a baby Giraffe and an Adean. We are not sure yet if the Adean will be just a decorative item or not, and we will find out when they are released.

The fourth item is a Pirate swing, with a calf, sheep and a pig riding on the swing.

We are sure that Zynga would not just release one odd Pirate item so maybe the next big thing to hit Farmville will be a pirate theme. Watch this space for more news soon

Farmville On a BlackBerry?

Not quite Farmville, but what has been just released is Alawar's Farm Frenzy for the BlackBerry. Although you do not get the same social interaction as you do with Farmville, you do get to tend your farm whilst on the go.
You have to make your way through 48 levels starting with egg collecting and eventually ending in producing cloth.

Not to be out done, a version of Farmville has been released for Apple phones. This means that tending your farm can be done at any time from any location. Talk about farmers always being on the go!

Feeding Trough

What I have decided to do is update the farmville secret tips on a regular basis. There will also be ongoing news about Farmville. So to get all the tips and latest news you are going to have to check back here 2 or 3 times per day to stay in touch.

You are probably aware of the introduction of Animal Feed Troughs on FarmVille. So now you can buy a new building for your Farm that used to be full of animal feed, and these will attract animals which you can adopt for your farm.

Once your Animal Feed Trough has been placed onto your farm, you will need to ask for Animal Feed.

This will be put on  your Facebook wall so friends and neighbors can help: You have to fill up your the Animal Feed Trough to attract wandering animal to your farm. You will need  20 bags of feed to fill up the trough, and Animal Feed can be collected from visiting your neighbors Animal Troughs, or by buying it at the Market. Each bag of feed costs 1FV$. Once you find animal feed on your wall or from a neighbors trough, you will find it in your Gift Box. Simply add it to your trough.

FarmVille will be adding new wandering animals to collect with this new item.

When you have adopted one you will have to top up your Feed Trough again if you want to carry on attracting other farm animals.

Once you refill the animal trough with animal feed you will get the following message

Congratulations ! hooray, you’ve topped off your feed trough ! check back within the next day for any animals that stop by ! do you want to share some extra animal feed with your friends ?

When you log in to your farm and see the light above the animal trough building showing green and the doors are shut, this means you've successfully adopted an animal. Just go inside your animal feed trough you will get the following pop up message

“congrats ! you found a hungry poncho llama eating from your feed trough and adopted it for your farm ! you can find it in your gift box, would like to share one with your friends too ?

You will though have to check in on your farm each day because if you leave it more than a couple of days, the adopted animal will go away, you will see this pop up message: 

“Oh no ! Looks like an animal stopped by but you just missed it ! It ate 2 scoops worth of your animal feed – would you like to ask for more ?”
